After we've been accepted...how long do we have to reply?

Post by Crazycall2 » Mon Oct 25, 2010 1:34 pm

Hey all,
anyone have any insight into how long we can sit on an acceptance before they revoke it? (notwithstanding deferrals, of course)

Also, ever heard of anybody having their offers of merit scholarship revoked based on time?

Thanks

IIRC, it's usually till when your seat deposit is due. Of course you could always pay for the seat deposit and then drop it later prior to actually matriculating if you don't mind burning the couple hundred dollars or whatever it is.

when are seat deposits due? ...that seems to imply that I could (theoretically) put down seat deposits at more than one school..is that right?

Mid to late april or may. Some schools require multiple deposits at different times. You could put down deposits at different schools, but some schools don't like it, and I think some share deposit info like they do ED info IIRC.
