Got the admitted student reception email just now.
Anyone going to the Dallas one? Looks like 1 in Austin, 1 in Dallas, and 3-4 other ones in Houston, mainly towards the end of march.

Going to ATX ( i love 6th street) and Houston events.

Yeah, I got it about an hour or so ago. Lookin' to go to one of the reception's in H-Town.

I was accepted last Friday via Status Checker and through email on Monday. I am still waiting to hear from Baylor, SMU, and UH. I will probably go with SMU over South Texas, but don't care much for Baylor or UH. I'll be going to the admitted students thing March 24th downtown.

Why would you pass up U of H for South Texas? If you get in, you would be passing up a much more valuable and portable degree.

This is driving me insane! I applied on 1/7 and my gpa was 3.76 and lsat was not so good, it was at 50th percentile. what do you think my chances are?

If you mean 50th percentile LSAT, then we are talking like a 151/152?, and with a 3.7 you have a decent shot. If you mean you are at the median LSAT for STCL (154?) with that GPA, you should be in!

thanks for the support fellas, honestly id like to get into south texas but just the relief of knowing something would be enough for me. So deny accept me whatever just freaken tell me, sick of wasting my days on these status checkers

fingers crossed we find out at the sametime. Not sure i can stomach another day of "yay im in" no offense quite happy for everyone actually but the hearing nothing is horrible

I know how you feel, I'm in that situation at a bunch of other schools.

i got my apps in to loyola and south texas before all mys chools in november and went complete in late december early jan, and they are the ones im waiting on. (i have some other schools (fee waiver schools) that i dont care about or have no chance of gettin in so i dont really count them)

I feel your pain, I have two schools that have been "complete" since early December.

That is the worst status. Luckily for me, all of mine are now in review, or in a 2nd review, or a 3rd. The changing review dates can really get at you.

There was a group of us that didn't get the email for a couple days after, but it seems like they're back to sending the emails at the same time as the status checker change.
