going to be at St. Mary's. Feeling like shit about that too, not many of its students are on TLS.
Same with my school. I have a friend that is a 2L there right now and loves it and a family member who did 1L @ St. Marys and liked it.

Has anyone else had issues with the mail?
My seat deposit hasn't arrived, I mailed it certified and it arrived at a Houston PO on Thursday of last week, just stuck there for some reason.

What zip code did you mail it to? They made a mistake on the status checker.

77002.
Actually, this one is lost at the Post Office sorting facility.
I envision a huge warehouse with all sorts of belts and troughs and things with one little envelope that is stuck on the rollers or fell below.
They told me to send it overnight, so on my lunch break I get to wait in line at the post office.

I heard from STCL admissions today that they will be calling a committee meeting in the next week or two to go over the waitlisted applicants IF they have any openings for either program (FT, PT). She said they are "on target" for a full class already, but will have to see what happens over the next month or so with applicants getting acceptances from other schools. Stay strong fellow waitlisters!

This thread has definitely slowed down in the last few days.

I've heard from various sources (none official) differing versions of what will happen (decisions on the wait-list by the end of May, a meeting of the committee in the next two weeks, the class is already full, etc.).

In the meantime, the one thing that we know is happening is that we wait.

My second seat deposit was due May 9, so I would think they would have a pretty good idea of the class by now. But I don't think any of the seat deposits are binding so I think the waitlisters are in for a long wait. :( I was waitlisted last year and didn't get rejected off the waitlist until June or July I think.

Afternoon everyone,

Pretty soon you will all be receiving your login information with your STCL email if you haven't already. I know some of you may already know about this but Amazon runs free prime shipping so long as you use a .edu account. http://www.amazon.com/gp/student/signup/info

Why is this so great?
1. You can buy textbooks, even used, at a much higher discount than the school and have them in 2 days (free 2 day shipping through amazon prime).

2. Most of you will be buying supplements. They are much cheaper through amazon than at the bookstore. I generally would go to the bookstore, review a few supplements I thought about getting, then buy it for $10 cheaper on amazon and have it in 2 days.

3. It's fun to buy shit you don't need.

Thought I'd just pass this along. The free shipping last a year but I know of a way to extend it, just PM me later.

Good luck guys.

Anyone have any real solid information about the current status of waitlist review?

If not, how about a really good rumor?

Does anyone know if we can add the STCL email address to our iPhone or other smart device?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
