How did I know I was going to be the first one... Waitlisted today via snail mail. FML

Sorry dude FWIW, a friend of mine was waitlisted last year and got in the first part of May (if the U is your first choice, that is). He did a LOCI and an interview.

Ya it's definitely my first choice. The letter says I'm in the first round of the WL, whatever that means, and I can interview. Here's to 2 more months of waiting. Ah I'm so let down.

I am also kind of surprised. I got into Minnesota with a $20 K/year scholarship. I wonder why Utah doesn't find me appealing. I chose to believe it is because of BYU for undergrad

Lol, I know your pain. I got wled to unlv despite getting 20k to wake forest. Odd how it plays out. I am Byu too, btw.

That's strange. I don't understand this admissions thing, I was surprised they accepted me. At least so early. Good luck getting off the WL soon guys. No one can have my spot yet.

In the binder there's a card to send back by March 11th asking if you're planning on enrolling, not sure, or not enrolling (non-binding), so they can evaluate their class size. So I'm assuming there will be a lump of acceptances after that point as well.

I have also been accepted and visited on Friday. I was really surprised by the whole experience. I am thinking about going back for admitted students day to meet you all and try to finalize my feeling(s) about the school!!

Anyone have an idea when scholarships came out last year? I think I read that by mid-March we should expect to hear something... that is, if anything is on the way. I'd love to attend the U but I have some full-tuition scholarships in the T25 so $ is probably going to be a deciding factor.

Wow... how did they WL you with a 166? Quinney has by far had to most confusing admission system I've come across during this whole process.

As I said before, something fishy going on at Quinney. They let me through with a 3.05 and much lower LSAT.

Also some one else asked what my impressions were..... All the kids seemed laid back (as much as you can be in law school) and down to earth. I was really impressed by the fact that the prof of the class I was visiting took the time to meet with me before class and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. Since I want to school where I am more than just another student and/or number it seemed perfect.
