I never got my status checker, and I submitted two weeks ago. Problem?

Shows how organized some schools are versus others. I went complete at UVA the next day. UVA wins the innovation and competence award in the T15. TX + Michigan + Cornell + Boalt lose.

+1 UVA was kind enough to have rejected me already via e-mail. They're the guillotine of law school rejections: it's not pleasant, but it's quick and humane.

Applied 1/12, still no status checker or email saying my file is complete.

Got a call on Thurs afternoon that I'm in.....still EFFING ECSTATIC!! Haven't taken my Longhorns hat off since...I honestly was really worried and I had had people (advisors, TLS) give me the impression that it was a long shot...

Info: In state, 3.6, 165

I definitely didn't feel good when I found out that they were deferring my EA into regular decision (applied in October), but it worked out

Congrats! I was a long shot too, I think UT Law really does look at more than numbers.

My status checker hadn't changed when she called... I was checking all day. I was so surprised when I saw the (512) number that I nearly dropped the phone.

I'm so excited... I went straight home from work and changed into my Longhorns tee-shirt!

Edit: Thanks for all the Congrats everyone... The wait is well worth it!
