I never got my status checker, and I submitted two weeks ago. Problem?

Shows how organized some schools are versus others. I went complete at UVA the next day. UVA wins the innovation and competence award in the T15. TX + Michigan + Cornell + Boalt lose.Hannibal wrote:I think mine took about a month.niederbomb wrote:I never got my status checker, and I submitted two weeks ago. Problem?

+1 UVA was kind enough to have rejected me already via e-mail. They're the guillotine of law school rejections: it's not pleasant, but it's quick and humane.niederbomb wrote:Shows how organized some schools are versus others. I went complete at UVA the next day. I pictured in my head the e-mail just saying "sorry, bro"francisConn wrote: +1 UVA was kind enough to have rejected me already via e-mail. They're the guillotine of law school rejections: it's not pleasant, but it's quick and humane.

Re: Texas 2011 Applicants
Got a call on Thurs afternoon that I'm in.....still EFFING ECSTATIC!! Haven't taken my Longhorns hat off since...I honestly was really worried and I had had people (advisors, TLS) give me the impression that it was a long shot...
Info: In state, 3.6, 165
I definitely didn't feel good when I found out that they were deferring my EA into regular decision (applied in October), but it worked out

Haha, I'd still say you were a long shot for UT. You must have had one hell of an app. Congrats.labacia wrote:Got a call on Thurs afternoon that I'm in.....still EFFING ECSTATIC!! My status checker hadn't changed when she called... I was checking all day. I was so surprised when I saw the (512) number that I nearly dropped the phone.doppelganger wrote:AWESOME!!!! Maybe throw in a completely new app for the remaining T20 you haven't applied to?Hannibal wrote:Don't care to check.ArchRoark wrote:Has your status updated?Hannibal wrote:Dinged via snail mail.

Re: Texas 2011 Applicants
Nah, I still have plenty of apps out there and considering how generous UIUC is with money they're my most likely candidate regardless.neonx wrote:Maybe throw in a completely new app for the remaining T20 you haven't applied to?Hannibal wrote:Don't care to check.ArchRoark wrote:Has your status updated?Hannibal wrote:Dinged via snail mail.
