Nope. Though to be honest, I'm expecting to be held over for regular decision. People with auto admit numbers who have been complete for a good while will be the first to know, so I'm waiting to hear from them about whether or not they got anything in the mail. Or a phone call. Last year the first acceptances were received on Monday, IIRC. Obviously, this will vary depending on how far the applicant lives from Austin.

according to this thread http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =7&t=93408 it looks like the first acceptances came out on tuesday, not monday.

I was going off the dates on LSN, which lists the first acceptances as 10/26. Though there may be a distinction being drawn between the date the decision was sent of and the day that people received it, I don't know.

People usually put the date of acceptance (date on the letter), so it would make sense to have the date as 26, but reported on the 27 and later because they came through mail.

Judging by LSN, it looks like all those admitted today are going to be high-dollar scholarship recipients. That makes sense, since they all received phone calls. I'm not expecting much money, so I'll keep checking waiting for the mailman.

Congrats to all.

I applied to UT a few days ago. Used to train there every year. Nice people, nice place.
Does anyone know how UT deals with minority applicants?

They teach them how to pronounce "Guadalupe" like a gringo.

Ah, I'm getting so antsy! I really loved UT when I visited - the people were so incredibly nice but I do agree that the facilities were kind of eh. Still, an amazing city and great people. I went complete 10-06-10.

The low cost of attendance, terrific faculty, and awesome city make up for the poor facilities. Plus, the renovated areas of the library look awesome. It should be pretty cool when it's all finished.

Starting to feel dumb for taking some time to respond to their residency forms. My residency was in doubt and it took a few weeks for them to determine that sadly, I am not eligible. Went complete on 9/27 but just sorted out residency stuff today. Looks like it'll be some more waiting for me :(

I went complete before 10/8 but haven't heard anything yet... I got a phone call but it was from a West Virginia number. Totally got my hopes up and I have crappy service in my office so I couldn't make out what they were saying. No one got a phone call from a W. Virginia number did they?
