Congrats to the recent admits! I applied a couple of weeks ago and haven't gotten any log-in info. Is this typical?

i also had an issue with my cane id/myum. if you've applied before, the system doesn't like you very much. just go to the login page: https://caneid.miami.edu/cas/login?serv ... dcheck.asp, and click the First time using CaneID? link to the right. even though it technically wasn't my first time, i just entered my ssn and dob and it auto-populated the myum login i created before. you just have to confirm a new password, etc. and presto, you have access to the system once again. if that's not your issue, then i would suggest just calling the admissions office and having someone look into it for you.

Anyone else having a problem setting up their CaneID? I went to the website, entered the UM Student ID they sent me via email as well as my birthday, the next page asked me what city I was born in. It kept telling me my answer was incorrect (which it definitely is not). Now I'm locked out of the site because I attempted to log in to many times. Suggestions?

I had the same problem as well. Just call the number it gives and they'll reset it with you. Did you apply for undergrad there? I did and I think that's the reason that it was all messed up..but they'll fix it for you

Im still finishing my supplemental app so i haven't submitted my application yet, so should I find out in the same time frame that others did, or would mine be expedited because its later in the admissions cycle

So i think im havin the same prob as a couple others here....I submitted my app on 11/17 and still dont even have a confirmation from Miami let alone an id for a status checker? what the efffff is the deal?


ps: my stats are 155/3.78 with biology (human biology) if anyones curious or if it means anything

Same. Applied 11/14, nothing yet. I'm a high-160s, 3.4x but that probably doesn't matter.

I applied mid November and was just told my application is on "hold" for "re-review" before April. 157lsat and 3.5gpa. Im super bummed as this was my first choice. Any idea what this means for my chances?
