Has anyone been placed on a formal waitlist yet? or it simply just the "hold" category. I have heard there is a difference between waitlist and hold and that being on hold is a better situation, but i havent seen anyone who has actually been put on a waitlist yet. My bad if this has been answered but im not gonna look over 32 pages in this thread

I called and asked (took talking to about 4 different people, but eventually got the right info)...The 3.2 stip was a 3.0...so they said they haven't ran the numbers since the new stipulation was put in, but they said that before they uped it to 3.2 that they checked, and 80 something percent, I think about 83% would have kept the scholly if it had been a 3.2 the previous year. So basically, don't be a slacker.

When did you apply? I can't believe you received so much money. I have similar numbers and I was expecting far less if any money at all. When did you apply? Did you put in a phone call to speak to someone with authority directly? I've called, only to be told that I simply have to wait to find out.

I was accepted at both UF and FSU (with $$$) yet was held at UM, which was quite a shocker as it would have been a place I would have loved to attend with a decent scholarship. Anyone have any idea why I might have been held? I'm a 3.0/166 with decent softs, including one from a UM alum. My numbers aren't crazy so maybe they just didn't like me? Confused.

I actually though that UM would be a backup school and Im on hold, so confused right now...

Didnt even recieved notice of it until I went into the cane id thing... this stinks

I'm on hold too with opposite numbers (low LSAT, high GPA). Really hope we don't have to wait until the end of April.

I prob missed this...but how are you hearing about $? cause my status check acceptance doesnt mention it.
