I would guess this has been posted before, but those of us held for committee review have a long wait ahead.Stanford Admissions Website wrote:The law school uses a rolling admissions process, acting upon applications throughout the admissions season as they are completed. However, some applications are held until the committee has reviewed the entire applicant pool. This second review occurs in April, at which time the class will be filled. (A small number of applications will be held for possible use in filling vacancies that may occur during the summer.)
The Office of Admissions will make every effort to send applicants a first response (accept, deny, or wait list) by April 30.
To secure a place in the entering class, applicants accepted for admission must pay a deposit.

I don't think they've moved past 12/1, unless I'm missing something. The 12/6 was a while ago and out of order.

If you look at LSN it looks like late-March/early April is when they typically get to holdovers. That's a little better than April 30.bdubs wrote:I would guess this has been posted before, but those of us held for committee review have a long wait ahead.Stanford Admissions Website wrote:The law school uses a rolling admissions process, acting upon applications throughout the admissions season as they are completed. I keep telling myself this year will be different. Im about to go hard into scholly negotiations with a CCN school and might be forced to decide before then.bedefan wrote:If you look at LSN it looks like late-March/early April is when they typically get to holdovers. I'm feelin it. After my ceiling collapsed this morning from a leaky pipe flooding the tiles, I could use some Dean Deal in my life.

So should we assume Dean Deal is gone? No movement of any sort for a week now after a slew of acceptances last Wed.

Either she is gone and people are doing administrative things like sending out letters already decided on, or she is still reading and we are still just falsely hoping to get in.

No, that's LSAC complete. I keep trying to go back and change it, but I've repeatedly been getting the "problem with sessions" error.
