You know, I thought I had broken my addiction to checking status checkers. With SLS starting this, I am completely and utterly re-addicted.

I think the consensus is that a phone call or email will prelude all acceptances; a DLS without either of the two means a rejection.

Am glad to oblige. In other news, just told a "so today on TLS" story at a family dinner, and got a table of blank stares (except for my mom, who knows about my TLS issues and just looked embarrassed for us both).

I started talking about the "Vent" thread that started today, and how everyone started attacking the OP and each other. My mom is the only one who really understood any of this. Everyone else just looked very confused. Including my sister-in-law, who graduated top of her class from a T-6 not that long ago, you would think she would know how crazy TLS can be.

It started with the realization that the bullet indenting on two different sections of my resumé had been a bit off. Was it possible to fax or mail in a corrected copy, I called to ask one school? Would sending in a correction count for me – or against me? Did it even matter?

Right now, this is my only consolation as I have 2 typos on my application form (who spells Hospital as Hostpital?) and one typo in each of the emails I sent. My nervousness is showing. Not an excellent trait for a lawyer-to-be and I sincerely hope they find it adorable and curable rather than an adequate reason for vetoing my application.

Did you folks who sent in an LOCI get a confirmation from the admissions office? If so, how soon did you get one?

sent one last thurs, received confirm email from the office on monday
