Same here. Just e-mailed my LOCI. Also updated them about a recent promotion at my job. Hope it's not too late...Knock wrote:I did the ad. Comm.lucylove wrote:Who did you guys address your LOCI to? Dean Deal? or just the admissions committee in general??
Both, actually.lucylove wrote:Who did you guys address your LOCI to? Dean Deal? or just the admissions committee in general??
Sorry to hear it. Best of luck with the rest of your cycle.thecilent wrote:Guess my DLS had been there for a while: just got the snail-mail rejection. (Late September app)
Okay officially checking out / heartbroken.
Bye S thread.
I addressed mine to Dean Deal. And I drew hearts in the margins. And our intertwined initials.lucylove wrote:Who did you guys address your LOCI to? Dean Deal? or just the admissions committee in general??

My status changed to decision letter sent on the same day that deal called/emailed me about acceptanceKnock wrote:Not sure, do they even have a date on the status checker for DLS? I think the consensus is that a phone call or email will prelude all acceptances; a DLS without either of the two means a rejection.chrisboots wrote:My status changed to decision letter sent on the same day that deal called/emailed me about acceptance
Hey, would you mind sharing your acceptance date/#'s? Pm if you want to keep it private. I just laughed out loud repeatedly.
You are welcome, fellow deal-signaler.Knock wrote:Okay, i've decided to send in my 3rd LOR from my boss to SLS. Hopefully this is the right call. Thanks R6 for the advice, I appreciate it.
Am glad to oblige. In other news, just told a "so today on TLS" story at a family dinner, and got a table of blank stares (except for my mom, who knows about my TLS issues and just looked embarrassed for us both).Knock wrote:Hahahaha, me too .LilMonsterAnnie wrote:whathojeeves wrote:I addressed mine to Dean Deal. I started talking about the "Vent" thread that started today, and how everyone started attacking the OP and each other. My mom is the only one who really understood any of this. Everyone else just looked very confused. Including my sister-in-law, who graduated top of her class from a T-6 not that long ago, you would think she would know how crazy TLS can be.Knock wrote:

It started with the realization that the bullet indenting on two different sections of my resumé had been a bit off. Was it possible to fax or mail in a corrected copy, I called to ask one school? Would sending in a correction count for me – or against me? Did it even matter?
