Dude, it's early November. Nothing is going to happen until at least December.

lol you don't get to close to 3000 posts by staying on-topic all the time.

Since the first decision is at least 4 weeks away (right?) I don't think there is anything "on-topic" at this point.

Still I apologize. And in advance for future excursions.

True. But at least discuss living in SF/Paloalto. NYC talk belongs in Columbia/NYU/Fordham threads!

Haha trust me i know. I have been lurking on this site for years (rarely posting). It never bothered me until my application cycle came around. I am now a nervous wreck.

Waaa? You lurked for years and learned nothing?

I feel you though. I feel like Stanford is my best reach/target and I really really really hope to get in. I am not nervous, but that's because I am keeping it a lighthearted affair.

Im really lucky in that Ive already got both a school I really like and a financial aid offer I really like locked down.. If not, I would be losing my mind thinking about my Stanford/Harvard/Chicago apps. I mean.. Im still checking status checkers on the daily but in the least vigorous way possible.

Oh no no! I have learned a ton. For example, my years of lurking have taught me that there is not a chance in hell that I am getting into Stanford with my numbers :( :(

TLS provides an acronym list for all us nerds
A few you use are not on the list. Sorry if I came across bitchy
not my intent, but I see now I come across like a real cat.
just frustration.

FTFY & FTFM (fixed that for you/me) are used quite a bit around TLS, and no worries :D.

If I can get over the hurdle of the LSAT, I am golden. I talked to the admissions advisor at one of the LSAC forum and SLS doesn't get hung up on the LSAT the way some schools do (ie, Columbia, Harvard). She was pretty clear that they want strong, well rounded candidates.
If you never ask, you are told 100% of the time NO
If you do ask, you will be told yes 50% of the time

I guess I will see soon

Best of luck! Just curious, why are you getting a JD if you already have a MBA?

My company paid 100% for it and I drastically increased my gpa...
