Okay officially checking out / heartbroken.
Bye S thread.
I think I got the shivers just hearing about your rejection. I'm a bloody coward- I open my status checker so timorously now.
Anywho, all the best with the remainder of your cycle.

I know I said it already, but sorry cilent. Having the letter in hand is especially hard. I know you will have some place great to go.

I'm really sorry for asking this but I haven't been following this thread that closely, mostly because I don't actually think I'll get in. But I've noticed a lot of people talking about sending in LOCIs. Did you all get wait listed already, or are you preemptively sending it in because someone suggested it was a good idea??

I think a lot of people are updating their application since they've been UR for a long time (Oct. for me), and using the opportunity to not only update but also to reiterate their interest in SLS.

People just haven't heard yet. Dean Deal posted in her blog that we might want to send in LOCIs, but with discretion

Mine's double, but I haven't sent it yet or even finished writing it. I'm not sure that this is correct though.

Are these "Decision Letter Sent" notices staggered, or are they being sent out in groups? As in, if we didn't get one is that good news? Or are they just sending them one at a time?

My previous addenda were all single-spaced (I must have read somewhere that that was the way to go), so I think I will go with single-spaced on this one as well. If someone knows for sure that we are supposed to use double-spacing, please do chime in.
Thanks!

I actually go to Stanford for undergrad and the Prelaw advisor here said single space for the Stanford LOCI, so I think that's the way to go.

Not sure, do they even have a date on the status checker for DLS? But yeah, if you didn't get one that is good news so far. Doesn't mean you couldn't get one at any moment though lol.

FWIW, my LOCI was single spaced. However, I haven't gotten a call yet, though, so don't put too much stock in it. And if they are going in chronological order for the DLS statuses, I really hope I don't receive anything as they pass through the October applicants.

I didn't include the lower part, as it had my personal information on it, but to confirm, there is no date on the decision letter sent status!

I sent an email in December explaining why Stanford is my #1 school...should I still do the LOCI formally?

Who did you guys address your LOCI to? Dean Deal? or just the admissions committee in general??
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
