It could very much be that Urm is what Stanford is looking for rather than them separating the applicants.

The woman who called me informed me that my file has gone through the review process several times and that the final review was last week. Also mentioned possible financial offers to sway me to go there (not that they need to).

Congrats! No profiling intended, it just seems to be common for schools to review (or at least accept) URM applicants in a separate wave.

We seem to be in almost the exact same boat, BTTOH. I don't think we've had a reported DLS in a little while, so I'm getting afraid these next couple weeks might be a slaughterfest.

Definitely seems that all of the recent admits have been URMs. I'm guessing they have us in different piles and are working through them sequentially.
