So, I haven't been paying much attention, so please excuse me if this has been asked/answered in the last couple days:

Is it the general consensus that SLS will be is ramping up its decisions due to the ASW being next week? I hope so . . .

i think were basing everything on history from past cycles based on LSN. and that graph on the first page... which i trust without verifying if any of it is true. but yeah - ASW is probably the reason why people get accepted around this time in the past.

Can't speak for Stanford, but my death experience did involve a very bright, white visual sensation. I can't say whether the popular portrayal of death made me see white, or there really is a whitespace, point is I did see a great whitespace, and very very calm.

I also had an out of body experience before, that's how I would feel when they call me.

To renew some hope, SLS admitted someone the Wednesday before ASW last year (which would be next Wednesday). I don't know if that person was the last RD admit, but they do keep admitting up until the very end.

Also, SLS is a heavy user of the waitlist. I can rattle off at least 15 people in the class who I know were WL-admit. Still being alive at this point is a pretty solid place to be, even if the call doesn't come pre-ASW.
