I did the LSAC update since Harvard will only accept them via LSAC. Wondering if I should send anything else.

What about CVs? do we send those directly to admissions?

Reading that blog, I am definitely going to send in a transcript update (4.0 semester, although it did not really change my GPA. An A in American Law means something right? lol). I will probably hold off on a LOCI until I get a chance to visit.

Also was thinking about visiting late this week, but since she specifically mentioned that this might not be a good week to visit, I might hold off. Not to mention I have not scheduled anything yet and I don't want to seem disorganized.

When I read the line about the three piles, I was really hoping mine was not sitting in the "easy deny" one.

With regards to the grade updates, I sent in a transcript to LSAC for an official update, but also e-mailed an "unofficial" grade update to Stanford. They sent a short note back saying they would add it to my file, so that seems to work.

Well I am def. going, flights/hotel/car booked. I guess I will submit an update when I come back about the visit and the grades.

Trying to decide whether I'm an "easy deny" or if it's worth it to update. Hm.

So does that mean I can't just update my LSAC transcript, I need to e-mail SLS too?

Hmm, so should I send them an official transcript through my school & email them, or send an unofficial transcript in an email?

It seems like Dean Deal usually thinks email is fine looking at her past blog posts, but I would call tomorrow to make sure. And of course update us all here on TLS.

While you're at it, tell them I'll move all the way to Cali if they just let me in. Then tell them to let me in.

I feel like I've been so proactive about being happy if/When I wind up at another school that at this point I'd almost feel strange if I don't end up moving cross country to NYC.

Would still pee my pants if I got into SLS, but in a really confused and disoriented sort of way... I'm so preemptively sure about my cycle I'm borderline checking out apartments and trying to start work on my taxes so I'll be set for fafsa time...

There's really nothing else I can send, and I guesstimate I'm in the bottom of the hold pile, so there's ya go...

The next few months are going to be an awkward wait :|

What ho all,

Been under review since December 3rd. I hope my app isn't sitting in some waitlist/deny pile of despair right now. (meep)

Knock on wood?.....

It must be because I went to Cal as an undergrad.

......GO BEARS!

and screw Stanford, for now.

Thanks. I had a mature break-up talk with my now ex last night and I was having a hard time getting out of bed, digesting the changes of no longer having her in my life etc. when my dad rolls in with "Stanford on the phone!"

Life is so strange. So strange. But good. So good.

Good luck to the rest of you in these days of calls!
