Yo! Save the vomit for the Columbia thread--we need all we can get.
LOL. Don't worry, I have a feeling I'll be vomiting enough for all of us. ....Ew.
EDIT: Just timidly checked the status checker and no update as of yet. Submitted for review 11/29...

WOAH. This is very scary
. So sorry sarahh.
Did you get the Decision Letter Sent status?
I think I am going to be sick...
Yes
I guess now we'll actually have real vomit waiting for CLS letters
Oh but even though you got zingged at Stanford, you've got Harvard... Congrats on that!

at least you have HLS, right?
Yes. Going to Stanford would have been a lot easier logistically because I currently live in the Bay Area, but I am really excited about Harvard. I told my mom I got rejected yesterday and she called them shmucks. I tried to explain to her that it was my GPA, not that they hated my personally. I applied on September 18th.
What does your status checker say exactly? Under the status panel? Mine says nothing.

Mine says nothing. Decision Letter Sent is up above in red.

Yeah, I think so. Congrats on the acceptance, #'s/softs?

Completely nitpicking here - does it say "Decision Letter Sent" or "A decision letter has been sent."? B/c mine is the latter, in red, right above the "Program: (2011) (Full Time Day) (JD)" thing.

Not a problem. Mine says the latter as well.
Thanks for the congrats, Knock. I'd rather not share my numbers (I ended up with nothing but headaches when I did this at my law school prep program), but I will share that my LSAT and GPA were both within their 25-75% range. My GPA is much more competitive though. I am a URM (Hispanic) and sent two targeted LORs. My application was very calculated (PS, resume, and LOR's all tied together nicely IMO).
I asked if all admitted students receive calls because:
Dean Deal wrote:So, yes, you’ll soon see the 650 area code pop up on your phone or see the congratulatory email from me in your in-box.
To me, this sounds like some may only receive an email/letter.
If you miss the call they send you an email I'm prety sure.

That makes sense. That is probably what she meant by that then.
I hope this might reduce some confusion, but I missed the call, received a voicemail, then an email later in the day...here is my current application status:
--ImageRemoved--
but I seem to remember something more congratulatory back after I got the email and I checked it one last time....

just checked mine. Still under review =...(
I guess it's better than a "decision letter sent" without first getting the phone call.
