I just got my letter in the mail. It is only a letter though, says I have been accepted but nothing about scholarships or anything. Did everyone else who got the letter get the same thing or did some of you get scholarship offers as well?

My scholarship offer came about a week after my acceptance letter. However, you can tell if you got money when you login to your checkmarq account and go to accept/decline awards. If you have money the amount will be there along with loan opportunities. My MU username and password came the Monday after I got my acceptance letter (which I got on a Friday).

Thanks for the information!

So I guess I will be anxiously waiting all week for another letter from Marquette.

I got accepted on Friday.

Accepted to Madison on Monday. In state.

Unless something weird happens, I'll be withdrawing by the end of this week. Good luck to the waitlisters!

Got an email on 4/22 that I got accepted after being wait-listed and I would receive a letter soon. Then on Monday the 25th I got the acceptance letter in the mail which said "More info to come!"

Same dates as me, just I wasn't off the wait list. I'm hoping scholarship offers and what not come soon.

Looks like I didn't get anything. Mine just has loans listed. This is disappointing :(

Edit: Anyone here who got in 4-22 or later get an offer?

I am really debating with myself. I could go to a school that is only a few ranks lower for half tuition, or T3 with a full scholarship, but Marquette is a place I would really love to be. I wish they had offered me some scholarship money!

None for either. Well one offered me 25k top 1/3rd or 20k no stips. The other is full without stipulation.

If you're that serious about Marquette, you should reapply, and reapply early. With your numbers, you should be getting money from Marquette.

What were the other two schools you got money from?

One of my friends went to UST. I think if you don't mind staying in Minnesota for a while (long while), then that'd be an awesome opportunity at full tuition. I know when she graduated she had a handful of offers, but that was also back in 2008. Pacific is in a good area to get an internship, or network, but the Sacramento/Stockton economy is one of the worst in the country. How prepared are you to face that if the economy doesn't rebound in 3-4 years? I personally wouldn't even consider Tulsa, but maybe you have good reasons.

I don't know though. If Marquette is your goal, then reapplying seems like a good idea. Is attending Marquette a year earlier really worth sacrificing a few grand?

I would go to UST but I don't really want to live in the twin cities for the rest of my life. I guess I should ask them if they have had many students leave the state. Although even that I could get over if I knew there rank would go up. I am just worried I will attend and they will fall to T4.

As far as Tulsa, I don't think there is much chance.

Pacific on the other hand I am strongly considering. I am just worried about the fact that I don't think anyone has heard of it. If I ever leave California, or apply to some Federal job I don't want to show up and have them go you went where? Never heard of it.

Oh decisions, decisions.

I think I will be withdrawing some time this week. I can't convince myself to pay 40k a year when I could go to a T3 for zero tuition. I just hope the substantial rank difference between the schools doesn't kill to many job opportunities.

Have you tried contacting them for some money? I got some and my numbers are lower than yours. And I only applied a few weeks before you... I think its worth a shot...
