Not surprisingly, he/she has stellar stats.

This stood out for me in his/her profile:

GPA: 4.02

Notes:

"GPA fudged downward slightly above."

Ok.

That's got to be a flame. Really a 4.02+/180?? And why bother fudging the stats, I really dont think yale has any other 4.02+/180's applying this year. Im sure they could figure out who's who if they wanted to.

I'd like to think they are more than 1 or 2 180/4.3 people out there. There just has to be! (I'm being serious).

HTH, and you're certainly free to do whatever suits you best.

Haha thanks!! (Love the examples, by the way!)

I did the same thing:) Also, I graduated in the spring and I just wrote a brief paragraph about what I have been doing since then...Not too much detail bc they had my resume and WE explanations, but I also added in the fun activities/hobbies I've been involved in as well

.

Yes I double-spaced 7 and 8. However, I should add that I submitted those as separate attachments and marked "see attachment" on the line in the document with my answers to questions 4-12. I just didn't want to ruin the formatting of my PS and 250.

does anyone know if yale has an online status checker? And, if so, where the hell it is?

Hi guys, I just found out that in my 250s, there is one sentence of a different font...freaking out. What should I do? It's not that obvious when you first saw it, but is noticeable after you read it several times. what should I do???

Hm, I don't think that's too bad to be honest. If it's not noticeable the first time you see it, I wouldn't draw attention to it by sending it again. Besides it's just ONE sentence, and who knows how many times they actually read over these. I'm sure YLS has seen its share of typos and formatting errors over the years. I would take a deep breath and chillax. :)

thank you!! I really appreciate it! Words in that sentence are slightly bigger than words elsewhere(they are cambria rather than times new roman). i heard Yale is really picky on this...I hope they won't make a big deal out of this.

A bigger thing to worry about is that no one gets admitted without having his/her LSAT writing sample read by a Yale professor :p

Seriously though, don't sweat it.

Well, the highest GPA that matriculated at Yale last year was 4.17. So not quite probably, but yeah, if your school gives A+s, and you're also crazy at standardized tests, there are probably a few 180/4.0+.

There are no 4.3's? My faith in humanity is lost, again. :D

I recently sent in an addendum to the general email. 1 min later I got the automated response. Should I expect any other form of confirmation?

Possibly. I sent in a question, got an auto-response, and heard back within a few days, but your situation doesn't necessarily need another response, so possibly.

Yes.
