what a bunch of PRICKS! UGH i can't get over the fact that Yale denied my application with a 3.8 and 175 i'm ENRAGED

Went complete in mid-March, WL as of 6:40! Not looking forward to the waiting, but honestly I'm quite pleased, and I plan to wait it out until the brutal, bitter end.

So, anyone know if we'll continue to get decisions via email, or if I should expect my ding by snail mail?

I haven't heard a thing, and my application's been complete since mid-February. Why do you hate me so much, Yale? Maybe my ding really did get lost in the mail a while back. Maybe I'll never know!

Dingrd at Yale. HLS was my first choice since the beginning, so yay for no difficult decisions made for the wrong reasons!

um i went complete in december. and nothing. i know i previously joked that maybe my rejection letter got lost in the mail but maybe it realy did?

They're sending everything out by email in the interest of time, so we don't have to deal with being notified by snail mail. At the bottom of the Waitlist email, it says a copy will also be sent by US Mail, but at that point you already know the news.

I also think not hearing back is the best position you could possibly be in right now. They're probably still trying to decide on your file, and maybe a few admit calls will go out this weekend/early next week!

I think what both sonervous and I meant is that maybe we were dinged last month, when they last mailed out letters, and that our letters never came. Asha said on her blog that all acceptances would be done by the end of this week, so I'm sure an acceptance is basically impossible at this point.

Not to be all Debbie Downer...just trying to be realistic.

They said they'd TRY to get all decisions out, but who knows. They've been known to have activity on the weekend too, no? Just trying to stay positive! If you're really worried, maybe call them next week and ask if a decision has been reached on your file.
