Did your Status Checker change to "Congratulations" or was it just "Decision Mailed"? I guess i'm trying to figure out if i'm accepted or not. Other schools have "Congratulations" when you're in and "Decision mailed" when you are getting dinged.

Mine just said Decision mailed and I received my acceptance letter today.

Mine just said Decision mailed and I received my acceptance letter today.

I guess there's still a chance.

I was "decision mailed"

I read somewhere that baylor used to inform people of the decision via status checker but a major blunder occured where rejected/waitlisted people were showing up as accepted. So they use the "decision mailed" system now.

I thought it was strange too. The letter said that they couldn't offer me a spot for the fall, but if I was interested they could accept me for the spring. I really want to be back in Texas so I just went with it.

Well congrats! Was it on ur fall rejection letter? I put I wanted to be considered for both fall and spring on my app, and on my rejection letter it said something about spring but I just disregarded it.

My scholly info for the fall came 2 days after my acceptance letter. This was way back in mid November, though.

Is anyone here going for sure in fall? I sent in my seat deposit today. I'm pretty excited, even though there's a good chance I'll go to SMU if I get accepted and get money. I really liked Baylor when I visited, but between the employment prospects and all the horror stories, I'm just not quite sold on it.

I am going to ask them for $12 pretty soon. I know the app was free, but I want to be reimbursed for my LSAC fee. This is fucking ridiculous. I was complete on 11/17 and everyone of my deposit deadlines are due the 15th. Fuck them.

I'm waiting on SMU and have been since November. Many of my deposits were due April 1st and I ended up sending one in to Baylor in case SMU doesn't work out. It's a fact of life that some law schools take longer for certain people. I'm somewhat borderline for SMU... I called them and they informed me I did not make the first round of acceptances but that they are making another round of acceptances and I'll know by the end of the month. If you are that concerned you should just call them.

They told me they have a lot of apps to review still, and they said they are hoping to finish reviewing mine before May 1st. This is just stupid.
