Man I wish I was in IC right now partying with you all instead of working till Friday. FML. Sorry to hijack the thread but I was hoping you guys might have some advice for me.

Alright so I just shipped my car today from CA and it'll be in Iowa by Friday BUT the driver can't deliver the darn thing to my house. He's instead going to drop it off at the mall in Coralville and is totally inflexible about it. I was just gonna have my roomie sign for it but she doesn't have a car so I have no one to meet him! Gah. Ideas? Suggestions? I need help :(

ps it's my birthday

I can give her a quick ride to the mall on Friday if you'd like.

Happy birthday! Why is he being so inflexible? I'd call the company and bitch about it first.

If it HAS to be there, I can give your roomie a ride to sign for it or something.

First I would like to take this time to welcome all the 1Ls to Iowa Law!! It wont be an easy year but just know that there will be people along the way to help you in any way they can from the administrative staff to professors and other fellow law students. If you have any questions or need any type of advice, me and my fellow classmates are always willing to answer them or help in any other way. It wasn't too long ago that I was in your same position so I know exactly what you are going through. I look forward to meet you all!!

Also, I am selling the Cases and Materials on American Property Law book by Kurtz & Hovenkamp for $55 which is cheaper than in the bookstore. It contains some highlighting but the cover and binding is perfect! For those seriously interested I'm willing to meet so you can check the condition of the book and buy it. Message me if interested!

I'll get on it when it isn't a pass/fail class.

No Chris. This orientation test basically sets in stone how you are going to do in law school and in life.

Looks like I'll be a slacker then.

Overheard in my section. "Chris Bru is always on Facebook wth. Yea, there is no way he is going to make it three years" Never knew lemmings doubled as oracles.

I failed so hard at putting TLS names with orientation leaders.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
