Good luck to those few who went under eval. And to plug it once more, new admits should join the UC Davis Law Class of 2014 Facebook group if you want a head start on housing, roommates, living in Davis, etc.

Just noticed that someone got rejected yesterday according to LSN, maybe they'll finally move all our applications through now. Just want to hear something at this point.

Has anyone else found UCD staff to be extremely unresponsive? I've had issues with the admissions office, financial aid office, and career services office calling or emailing me back. Most recently, I've been waiting 3+ weeks for the career services office to respond to my inquiry.

I don't know about your particular experience, but when I sent an email to admissions, the assistant dean got back to me in a day. Hope they get you covered soon as well.

Jeez i can't believe so many of you are still in the awaiting eval phase. At this rate i'm afraid even if i ever do get accepted off the waitlist it might be too late!!


Also in response to a few posts above, every contact i've had with them has received a swift response. Sometimes the same day, if not then the next(Admissions/Fin aid)

I've just heard horror stories of people being offered acceptance just couple of weeks before school starts. :shock: It's definitely a gamble and waste of LOTS of money if it is your #1 dream school doing this to you. ugh.

is it better to not hear back from Davis at all or to be on the waitlist?
i've had Application File Complete - Awaiting Evaluation as my status for the longesttt time, but it seems like a lot of people are getting on the waitlist already :?

Okay, it's almost May! I applied 5 months ago. I am going to UMN as of now, but will go to Davis definitely if they let me in. Please start reviewing me Davis!

I know I'm jumping the gun, but when do people who were WL'ed start to get reconsidered? Norcal seems awful nice with this terrible weather in the midwest/ south.
