I'll be attending the ASD. Good excuse to go home at least, don't know if I'll be accepting.gotcha wrote:So the ASD thread that's up is rather weak... Do we have a lot of people on here attending the Atlanta ASD?

Re: Emory 2011
I'd like to attend the DC reception but I can't get away from school again, since I visited Atlanta last week. However I'd be really interested to see how this goes since I eventually want to end up back in DC and the career services people made it sound like they have a pretty solid alumni base there.law4vus wrote:So is anyone planning on doing the DC Admitted Students Reception on the 6th?

I'm a little shocked. In with 75K. 3.9 165. Emory is now a very viable option.

No, I'm out of state and it was from a letter postmarked 3/20. Not sure when it arrived, I was out of town for a week.beachviolet11 wrote:hector311 wrote:I'm a little shocked. In with 75K. 3.9 165. Emory is now a very viable option.

For those of you who received no merit scholarships or small ones like myself, are you afraid of Emory's cost. That is really holding me back right now.

Please upload photos of your visit, and opinions of your visit! I won't be able to make ASW, which sucks, so I'm going to depend on other TLSers for this. I would be grateful!

Ditto. Struggling with $150k debt from Emory vs. a full scholarship to a lower ranked but well-respected competitor. Hopefully ASW will shed some light.bport hopeful wrote:For those of you who received no merit scholarships or small ones like myself, are you afraid of Emory's cost. Re: Emory 2011
Id likely have more than that. I havnt gotten any full rides, but I could go to other places for much much cheaper. But the thing about me is that my crappy GPA is keeping me down, so Its likely Emory, or TT or not so good T.

i'll be withdrawing. don't worry. at this point, i'd only attend emory on a full scholarship, and i didn't even get a half one.

When is Emory's first seat deposit due? Just trying to gage when they might start going to the waitlist.
Thanks.
