^ That's what I thought too... Could it be that all 400~ of those notifications are to people who are not TLS members (or at least active ones)? :(

I suggest a new thread, IN AT EMORY 2011, the minute that someone has a decision...

I can see nervous posts pushing this thread to the top of the page even if there are no new decisions (yes my post is doing this!). And I'm sure you don't want to keep checking this thread just to find out someone is asking if there has been any decisions

LOL. Someone wrote this before - that there is snail mail for acceptances, and e-mail for other "important updates." I have no sources, and no clue. Regarding Emory this cycle, I would not be surprised if they utilized the LSAT definition of a few (2-infinity) days and waited until August.

Forgive me if this has been discussed but when can we expect scholarship info? With our acceptances? (I sound more confident than I am - I just figure I won't receive any scholarship info with a rejection, only slices of moldy cheese)

Scholarship info comes with your acceptance letter and is non-negotiable.

If it is non-negotiable, one would assume it would be higher. Emory is taking a big risk this cycle - they can fall big on the rankings in terms of LSAT and GPA, and I do not really see what they would gain by being non-negotiable and so late.

BTW, why is Emory Rob a credible source? How do we know he is not a troll?

For a school I really really like and that is a top choice of mine, Emory is doing some shady, questionable things.

Do we know for a fact it's non-negotiable? Is this stated somewhere?

It was in the email a bunch of us got a few days ago. "Because of the highly personalized review of your file, all merit-based scholarship decisions are final."
Haha I got that email, I guess I missed that line. Thanks! I've been trying to stay away from TT because people were getting a little crazy last week.

Well, his first post was Jan 2010.
He has only posted in Emory threads.
His answers seem to be knowledgeable.
It's a pretty elaborate ruse for a troll.

Bottom line is, you don't know!

I'll check my email just the same - lots.
I'll check my mailbox just the same - once a day.
I hope I get nice news in either one!

Does anyone think Emory has a legitimate chance to move the median up to a 167 this year? We might be in line for some huge merit awards if that is their ultimate goal.

Everything is negotiable, no matter what they say. Someone will successfully negotiate with them...unless they are willing to lose people to schools that are willing to negotiate.

Not sure if I'd go to Emory any way but I have a feeling I'm going to need as much leverage as possble to squeeze a few more dollars out of ND (not sure if their going to care about the money that Indiana is throwing around)

I was hoping that the Indiana 120 would be helpful with Emory/BC/ND.
