So it only took them 3 months to reject me (or so I am expecting).

Also have 2/10 DLS at Univ of Washington... this next week is going to be intense.

Just call FedEx and see if Vandy is sending something your way....

Nah, I rather just wait. I am not expecting much B) thanks for the tip though

Did anyone else get a career services booklet today? If so, did it include scholarship info? At first I thought that's what it was, but I opened it and there was no letter, just the booklet thing.

W/L by snail mail today, probably my complete lack of enthusiasm for the school in my admissions essay.

Anyone heard anything about the Law School Merit Awards? When have those typically occurred in the past?

Someone who got it in last year's thread said they got it around Feb. 19th. Regular scholarships started to hit mailboxes around March 1st.

Does anyone honestly know how much the interviews weigh in the admissions process?? I will be the first to admit that my numbers are NOT very strong, but I have excellent softs. My interview was with Ryan Willard (Associate Director of Admissions) last November, and I think I knocked the interview out of the park. I am desperately trying to convince myself that I still have a chance of admittance.... Any comments, especially from those already admitted reflecting on your application interview, would be extremely helpful!!!! Thanks

It definitely helps for borderline applicants, or for those who want to avoid YP. I have so-so numbers for Vandy, and I (along with those who have similar numbers and interviewed) got in pretty quickly, while those with similar (or even slightly higher) numbers who didn't interview seemed to get hit more with the WL.

It doesn't work miracles, but it seems like it can push borderline applicants one way or the other.

I got a really sweet email from my interviewer today congratulating me on my acceptance. Vandy's such a class act.

Same here. I have to admit I was pissed. They should know better than to play with our emotions.
