My decision was sent 2/3 and I received it today. Since you're 2/4, you're set for an unusually heavy acceptance package tmrw.

Yep got my waitlist today dm 1/31. I was hoping they'd overlook my lowly 166 with my softs and WE, but I guess they gotta keep their precious medians intact.

Couldn't help myself...Just called FedEx and there is a package coming from Vandy scheduled to be here tomorrow. Someone please reassure me that this is definitely good news!

haha yeah, but Vandy was option 1B for me. I still think you have a good shot of getting off the waitlist (particularly with apps down this year), but we'll see how much cash Vandy throws your way. My guess: a lot.

Has anybody talked to them about the travel reimbursements yet? I got an email about it this morning which said that they "normally reimburse reasonable travel expenses... and some lodging expenses", and says to contact them to set it up. Do they pick up the cost of a coach-airfare up to a certain $ value or something and some % of a hotel stay? If anybody has gone through the process with them, any insight would be appreciated so I can get a sense of what I should expect when I contact them.

I don't know what the decision is because I'm overseas and my friend won't check my po box until this weekend.
But today Vandy emailed me information about their Admitted Students Programs- someone please tell me this is good news? Please?

I am driving and got pre-approved for reimbursement of the mileage ~$300 and hotel up to $50 per night. They also wrote that if I decided to fly instead, they would reimburse any reasonable coach airfare+ transfer to the airport up to $18+ hotel up to $50 per night.
The reimbursement is limited to $200 if you do not get a pre-approval.
