Yeah I meant to post that in the 2014 thread. Too early, not paying attention.

Bit of a delayed post here, but I withdrew a little while back. Hope a TLSer gets the spot!

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Admitted from the waitlist today! This follows a totally left-field BU acceptance last Thursday. I am waiting on BC financial aid and got the impression they would at least try to match BU. Were it not for the success stories in this thread of getting scholarships after super late admissions and waitlists, I wouldn't have pursued either of them. I thought it was impossible to get money off the waitlist and couldn't justify paying sticker. My bf is in Boston, and this time last week I thought I was going to school halfway across the country. What an insane week. Hopefully BC can steal me away with their dollaz--I do love BC, but not in a $50k extra worth of debt sort of way. They were my #1 from the beginning, but now my brain is all confused since I've been amping myself up for BU all weekend. Anyway, I can only thank TLS (and specifically this thread) for my waitlist redemption!

Congrats!
Yesterday, I got an email asking if I was still interested in being considered for admission. I got all excited, but then just realized they're probably refreshing their waitlist.

I dunno... I'm kind of in a panic right now lol. Split 50-50, basically. I don't think I'll be getting any financial aid, sadly. Even so, it's like 15K cheaper per year.
I need to find all the Boston 1L threads around here and read up!

Has anybody heard anything from BC about the wait list? I'm starting to think that the class is full.

Re: Boston College Applicants Thread
Hey guys, I'm off to NYC and looking for someone to take over my room in a 2 bedroom apartment. It's in Brighton, right on the B line at the Washington St stop. Its three stops to BC on the T. The apartment is about 900 sf, and the room is a really nice size with three big windows and good light. It's only $750 per month, which you'll figure out soon is really great. Also fantastic is that you don't have to find a roommate, one comes supplied. He's a 22 year old recent grad from Kansas, starting work at Harvard in August. You'll both be moving in around the same time, so you can set up the place together. Move in date is negotiable from mid August to September 1
