Just got in yesterday. Status checker updated to "Admitted" and then I received a similar e-mail from the Dean of Admissions. I'm hoping a scholarship offer comes in the mail...

Dinged via status checker. Illinois and kent in one day..only honestly applied to both due to fee waivers..expected illinois But kent is a surprise. Certainly not a good indication of things to come this cycle for me..

To those that were deferred, do your statuses say "Priority Defer" as well? Are there different tiers of deferred-ness?

I'm going to guess that applications are up this year across the board and so more schools are taking advantage of the increased numbers to either Yield Protect or simply concentrate on increasing their numbers in general. University of Virginia, for example, is being particularly brutal to its out-of-state applicants.
