Status just changed to "Decision rendered and sent" today. Assuming I get in, I will withdraw when I get the letter. Just wanted to let people know they are still sending decisions.

Best of luck to those waitng.

I wonder what that means.
Is that for the May program too?

On a different note... How do most people take notes in Cardozo, by laptop or hand? How many hours of study a day does the average first year part timer study?
I heard the majority of people take notes on their laptops. Apparently a very Mac friendly school. I think they were saying about 4 hours a day, but most like to break it up in the morning and afternoon. Still haven't gotten a real answer on what a typical day looks like (ie. "I'm in class 10-12, then have off then another class 2-4") or anything like that, which is what I'm really curious about.
To answer your question this semester as a 1L I'm in class M-Th from 10-12 and then 2:30-4. Fridays I just have 10-11

I am on the fence ... leaning towards Cardozo.

I'm in-state in NC. My top choice, UNC, is a bit slower in getting decisions out this year and the latest is that we will hear by May1. So I have to put a deposit down at another school by the 15th. It's between Cardozo and Maryland at this point. I went to ASD at both and was impressed by both schools and their faculty. I can see myself in either school and would be happy at either one but the cost of living in NYC is really scary for me. To give some background, I have been woking for about a decade and am married, so this will be a major change for me. I love NYC because I grew up in a big city, but finding a place to live with my husband and 2 dogs in NYC at an affordable price is pretty hard. So the housing question is a big unknown.

Otherwise, I really liked Cardozo when I visited and I think the student body, the faculty, and the variety of their clinical programs is truly phenomenal.

Need to decide in 2 weeks. Maybe a coin toss? :-)

Yeah really similar to my situation. But I wont need to change states to attend school. It's $ vs Ranking

Some of the links of Cardozo's page are not working--like the bookstore--a little surprised, given the professional atmosphere of the school. I know I'm being picky.

I know no online bookstore bothers me. I wanted a sweatshirt.

Sorry to keep hammering this point - but has anyone out there head any Waitlist success stories that have come out of Cardozo that involve the Full-Time program? I know that they have already been offering WL'd applicants some May seats, but I am hard-pressed to find any evidence on TLS of someone jumping off the WL and into the FT program... :-/

The amount of yellow on LSN.com is unbelievable, ranges from like a 165, 3.5 to a 151, 3.0

LOL?!

We (WL candidates) were suppose to receive an update by late march but I have not heard a thing... anyone hear a word?

Additionally, I am WL for FT and "in consideration" for PT, so does anyone have a good guess what is the latest they offer PT seats?

Yeah. I'm not sure why they cited late-March as an update point in the initial WL email because an email I got encouraging me to consider the May program was pretty aggressively saying that there is minimal WL movement for FT until AFTER the May program begins, which is May 17th.

Looked at last year's posts also (Cardozo 2010 thread) and there doesn't seem to be much "OFF THE WL!!!!" posts, if any at all... Not sure.

Was put on hold back in March. Really forgot about it. Received email today requesting I email them whether or not I am still considering Cardozo.

PS, still waiting for a response here. I think I'm going to end up paying that American seat deposit.

Same here. The $900 is half-refundable though...

There are a lot of pretty things I could buy with $450...

Dumb question I know, but is an LOCI a good idea for Cardozo? If so, what recommendations do you have for a successful one?

Did anyone else receive an email today asking if you were still interested in being on the WL? I'm guessing it was a mass email trying to weed out people who are not interested anymore but havent withdrawn.

I have yet to see an e-mail like that, but I have heard about this e-mail from numerous people.

So it is a mass thing. I got excited when I saw it at first and then as I kept reading I realized it's nothing special :(

Indeed it was a dumb question... I just got the mass e-mail and it says to do so.
