Ah, ok -- for some reason search didn't work for me. Now I'm getting 4 from St. John's.
In any case, point stands. You have to be top of your class from any of these schools to have a shot.

Accepted for Fall FT via email. Scholly letter was in the .pdf they sent, though at $25K/year with the top 80% stip. it's not as good as I'm getting from WUSTL. With the higher COL in NY this is going to be tough to say yes to...

They don't get high-paying jobs at big firms or top boutiques. Presumably some get govt or non-profits, some go to smaller firms that do stuff like insurance defense work, personal injury, workers' comp, etc. Some probably wind up unemployed or doing temp work or leave law altogether. It's a tough market.lawfreak wrote:So what happens to the rest of the class, are they chopped liver? You have to be top of your class from any of these schools to have a shot.

The prospect of an aliarrow/lawfreak study group just made Cardozo rise to the top of my list. If they don't let me in off the waitlist, please form said study group, record sessions, and post to TLS.aliarrow wrote:I'm not going to spam up an on-topic board with shitty memes, so just use your imaginationlawfreak wrote:So what happens to the rest of the class, are they chopped liver? You have to be top of your class from any of these schools to have a shot.

Re: Cardozo 2011
Confused. Whats the January start about? Is that an option for those of us WL'd for Fall 2011 - to start in January 2012? Or you were supposed to have applied for it in November/December of 2010 for a January 2011 start?

So begins another week of waiting for a phone call... good luck to all! Anyway, my question is does anyone feel being in the PT program instead of FT will negatively effect someones 1L summer opportunities?

I'm not sure why it would. You are done at the same time the FT class is done, taken the same classes, etc... Maybe I am underestimating that potential employers would look down on the PT students, but as long as you perform well I don't see a problem.my question is does anyone feel being in the PT program instead of FT will negatively effect someones 1L summer opportunities?

For those of you on the wait list who sent in a LOCI, did you get a response confirming they received your letter?

Yeah - they always send a stock email back being like "Thank you for your interest in Cardozo Law. This correspondence will be added to your file"MP24 wrote:For those of you on the wait list who sent in a LOCI, did you get a response confirming they received your letter?
