166/3.76

first acceptance of the cycle!

Congrats! There's hope for sub-168ers yet!

Remember...if the median is 168, than nearly half their entering class is going to be below that. :)

Mostly, that's going to be people with high GPAs.

And now back to studying for my Contracts final...

In today with a 3.84/167, applied 11/25, under review 12/2 12/10. Definitely one of my top choices, congrats everyone!

It has been a few weeks since I got accepted and I have yet to receive anything in the mail from WUSTL.

Eventually. We got a flash drive and a bunch of papers last year. Wait till everyone starts getting them before pestering the admissions office, they sent them out in like February last year.

In via email yesterday! Being considered for Scholars in Law Award (along with a lot of ppl it seems like). Very excited! #s right about both medians (slightly higher for the lsat). St Louis would be great!

I agree an email alone feels a little impersonal, although I like the speed of course, hopefully something else will come too. I got a huge packet from vandy right before I got the WUSTL email, so it felt just a little anti-climatic, but still really great. Pumped.

ok so I'm still sitting at complete as of 11/15 but when I logon to status checker I notice the first and second deposit listed under the fees heading. I do not see this on any other school's status checker where I am currently UR/complete, only on those to which I have already been accepted. Anyone else notice this? It probably means absolutely nothing, I'm just curious.

Means nothing until the deposit amounts are actually listed.

Sigh, still haven't had that first acceptance of the cycle to put me at ease. Under review since 12/02, saw others with same UR date just got in and just futilely checked my inbox. Numbers in profile.

You'll get in, just hang tight. Admissions won't be leaving many, if any, 168+ on the table since it looks like they're making the move to jump USC this year.

WUSTL is a total splitter school so I can't imagine you won't get in! I also know exactly how you feel... outside of my McGeorge acceptance (blech), I've been WL'd everywhere thus far. Talk about a gut buster. But hang in there, your stats are super awesome (Trade you in a heartbeat) so barring any weird stuff on your record or a glaring error in your app. packet, you should be in.

I know I'm likely to get in. It's just frustrating to still be waiting. Michigan still hasn't gotten back to me about my ED app, which I now think is safe to say is a rollover to RD since the deadline is the 15th, and none of the other 5 schools I'm in review at have shown any movement. Just sour grapes. Don't mind me.

Tomorrow is the 13th, Tuesday is the 14th and assuming the deadline is midnight on the 15th, you have all day Wednesday too... you'll get that ED Mich decision. That's a lot of business days to go through.

Try the admitted students site, and the status checker.
