Of course, my GPA is uninspiring but hopefully they will be in a really kind mood about GPAs.
Then again, one of the posters on here got in with a 2.9 or something, so I guess it depends on how truly uninspiring yours is.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
Got in with the first batch of admits with a lower then 2.9 gpa, but I am also a URM. LSAT is also 175+. Looking at LSN, it seems WUSTL is pretty splitter fiendly. GL, I bet you get in.0LNewbie wrote:Not so farPeg wrote: Thank you! My LSAT is a 168 so that just made my heart sing.

So... did everyone send in that financial aid form with their application? I just realized that I never filled it out...

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
There is an online financial aid form on the WUSTL ASBB too. I filled that in but had to guesstimate on a bunch of random budgetary questions that they asked about. I didn't fill out the paper form attached to the application.beachbum wrote:So... did everyone send in that financial aid form with their application? I just realized that I never filled it out...

171/2.94, non-URM. I applied 11-10, went complete 12-2 (not sure why this was), and was accepted 12-10.

Well done, splitters! 3.1x GPA over here. I'll just keep my fingers crossed and see what happens.

My application has not seen any movement since going complete late November. Is this pretty normal?

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
I'm getting pretty antsy. It seems like others who were held for the Dec. LSAT are hearing back, but I haven't even gone under review yet. Admissions didn't update me to "complete" until 1/18. Seems like they won't be getting around to me for a while, and I'm worried that even if I had a shot, there wouldn't be any spots left.
Any words of comfort/advice/tough love from fellow splitters and splitter sympathizers? Next cycle it is, I suppose.
Edit: In case it matters, I am over the magic LSAT number.

I'm still complete 11/2. Haven't even gone in review yet... 3.1 / 167. I'm wondering if this means I'm slated for the first round of dings, or if they're just waiting til they see how the app pool goes.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
I've noticed some posts on this thread about some kind of 168 floor. Just throwing in my 2 cents to let you know that I applied late nov, went complete early dec and got in late dec with a 167/3.92

WUSTL is notorious for taking 167+ splitters (people got in last year with sub-3.0 as long as they had a 167, yet people with 166 got WL with higher GPAs). This year, however, most of the LSN acceptances so far have been people with 168+ which makes people think WUSTL is accepting those people first to get their medians up.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
This isn't inconsistent with last year. The wall of accceptances last year was pretty firmly set at 168 until later in the cycle (with some lower scores getting in with great GPAs or URM status).law4vus wrote:That's bc of your badass GPA.modmx wrote:I've noticed some posts on this thread about some kind of 168 floor. Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
Interesting. Well, that gives me and my 167 a little hope. The way people were talking, it seemed like WUSTL was throwing a huge curve ball out.romothesavior wrote:This isn't inconsistent with last year. If you're over the 168, your GPA isn't atrocious, and you didn't write your PS in crayon, then you're fine.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
That's what everyone keeps saying, but I'm getting legitimately worried now. I don't think there's anything horribly wrong with my app, and I'm a St. Louis native/resident, so... what's the hold-up, WUSTL?chrisbru wrote:If you're over the 168, your GPA isn't atrocious, and you didn't write your PS in crayon, then you're fine.
