FWIW I'm a tiny white girl who lives by herself in St. Louis and I have NEVER had a problem. Don't stumble around drunkenly at night by yourself and use common sense and you will be fine.

Have a bit of an idiotic question. I asked the admissions office when I was on the phone with them the other day but the girl was just filling in, and I'm looking at the admitted students site right now, but I cannot find where to place my seat deposit. I can do this electronically, right? I don't have to actually mail a check or anything?

You have to select the option about accepting the admission offer under the deposit tab, then it will let you pay online.

So, uhh, that isn't a problem if I then decide to back out? I assume not because of the refundable part, but it still seems like strong language.

Haha, I feel your pain. Makes it a little intimidating for sure, especially since I'm on hold Columbia and Harvard. To be sure, if one of them comes calling, I will be backing out as well.

Did anyone apply for the Webster Society Scholarship? If so, have you guys heard anything back from them?

Did they just bump you 5K a year?

Did you have better offers from peer schools, or comparable offers from better schools?

I applied and have heard nothing either way, although when I submitted I asked when we might hear and was told late March or early April.

Hannibal, I demand details about scholarship negotiations with WUSTL. This can take the form of a PM/Valentine.

I think it's all ouija board nonsense. You might as well get your palm read for a decision.

Its true though. Because last time some posted about the text dissappearing on here, I checked and mine was still there (even after an update). Now I updated again and have no text. I wonder what happened to the last people.

My guess about this, is that the second review, when the writing disappears, means a decision has been made. I say this because I fully expect some decisions to come out very soon. Of course I have no idea what those decisions will be.

I agree. Has there been a pattern with regards to admission decisions? A particular day when they are sent out? A span of x weeks in between waves of decisions? Anything?
