Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
I applied 12/23, got LSAT score January 7. Up until today, when I called Admissions, they had my status listed as "incomplete." They changed it to complete when I called, which I think means I could not possibly have been considered yet...
Folks who applied in December and got in today, were you LSAC complete in December as well? I'm trying to read tea leaves here...

I'm in the batch of Vandy applicants with DR 1/12, which seems to have beenKabuo wrote:Holy numbers twin. I'm also stuck waiting on Vandy =\. Went complete with interview on 11/22, and not a peep.bigjinjapan wrote:Woke up this morning to find an acceptance email from WUSTL. Very happy to have my first acceptance this cycle! Applied 12/22, UR 1/7, DR 1/18.
It certainly is nice to receive this news in a timely and 21st Century fashion (I'm looking at you, Vandy...)

Just moving from "complete" to "in review" would be a wonderful change (depending on the outcome)

Seriously. I've been complete for over a month and WUSTL is one of my top schools. Come on!!brokenwindows wrote:Just moving from "complete" to "in review" would be a wonderful change (depending on the outcome)

I submitted around 11/8, been UR since 12/2 and no word since then. Last year, my LSAT was 4 points lower and I got $117K from WUSTL. I applied 1/31 and heard back around 2nd week of February.

I think the key takeaway is that the WUSTL admissions office is mysterious and unpredictable with its timing. Mysterious + unpredictable = super-annoying.jman77 wrote:I submitted around 11/8, been UR since 12/2 and no word since then. Last year, my LSAT was 4 points lower and I got $117K from WUSTL. I've been IR for 20 days, and if they want to WL me, they should just do it already. 2 batches of decisions have now passed me by

You'd think, but I had a realization the other day that almost gave me a heart attack. It doesn't do them any more good than a 169. I'd kinda been banking on it offsetting the GPA...krad wrote: Dang you think they'd jump on that LSAT... good luck friend!

TITCR. You're a suuuuuuuper splitter, so they'll probably wait on you until the review the high GPA, low(er) LSAT scores and admit you with someone they like that they need to offset LSAT wise.0LNewbie wrote:You'd think, but I had a realization the other day that almost gave me a heart attack. Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
You seem to have knowledge of this process. What you say makes sense.
If they were just gonna wait to pair me with a high GPA/low(er) LSATer, then why put me through the pain of IR? Seems like they could have waited.

Well they had to review you to see what your numbers were (theoretically)0LNewbie wrote:You seem to have knowledge of this process. What you say makes sense.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
This question may have already been answered upthread but I'm not hunting through the pages: on average, how long have people waited for a decision between submission and the acceptance/rejection email? I know other schools have kept people hanging for two months, and if WUSTL does that to me then I will be insane with anxiety by March.

Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
The general consensus seems to be that they are reviewing 168+ LSATs first, then high GPAs, then everyone else. There doesn't seem to be anyone 168+ who hasn't gone UR and (almost ) all of those have already received a decision, as well.Peg wrote:This question may have already been answered upthread but I'm not hunting through the pages: on average, how long have people waited for a decision between submission and the acceptance/rejection email? Of course, my GPA is uninspiring but hopefully they will be in a really kind mood about GPAs.
