Not necessarily. It looks like WUSTL is shooting for 168 and higher acceptances straightaway, so if your LSAT is below 168 (or, more likely, below 165) they aren't even reviewing your application until they let in as many 168+ as they are shooting for. This is just my theory, but I think it's a pretty good one. They are going to have to let in some sub 168 LSAT with higher GPAs to offset people like me that they accepted with 168+ and sub 3.0.

I'm assuming this means they're still deciding on a lot of scholarships?

I think this is on every email, but I'm not sure. But, for the love of whatever higher power you subscribe to, please just take 30 seconds to read. That question has been answered ON THIS PAGE as well as tons of other times ITT. Scholarships will be out sometime in mid to late February, because their scholarship budget comes out the second week of February.

Looks like I'm going to be waitlisted then. Complete 12/8, no movement. 3.3, 167.

You should be in. You'll just have to wait a little longer than the 168+ers. If you get waitlisted, I'll be surprised.

So have they released a new batch of decisions, or what? I've been UR since 12/29 and I was assuming I'd hear when the next round of decisions came out. Ugh.

Well you and I (and some others) have received news within 2 weeks from WUSTL so the snarkiness should be about not bothering to read today's posts

lol. I tried to make up for my snarkiness by PMing the poor guy that decisions had been made for some 12.29/12.30 IReviewers.

Oh and, don't ask about scholarships before Feb. :)

I would definitly agree with the 168 theory. Look at the graph of decisions on LSN nearly every decision has been 168 and over.

Complete 11/15. Thought I had autoadmit numbers (only because I'm URM). I don't know what they're waiting for, because my fall grades were updated near the end of December.

FWIW, I got my acceptance in the last December batch and my LSAT was below 168 (but not by much). Maybe there are a couple exceptions or something, but you're right that the graph is overwhelmingly over 168.

Are you a URM or have a high GPA?

But I think it's because I RSVP'd for the January ASW. There is a couple nice letters, an admitted students "checklist", and a pretty cool flashdrive with a bunch of videos and brochures. Pretty cool. As a local I love WUSTL. Too bad I'll probably be withdrawing :(
Woo Hoo! Hopefully I'll be getting a simliar package. I wonder if I can trade the USB for a T-shirt instead though.

I hope I get one even though I didn't sign up. The complete lack of physical letters is lame.

A student sent me an email today offering to answer questions. It was nice, I probably overloaded him with a few too many

Anybody else get this?

Not yet. Did you sign up for an ASW?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
