I have "Initial Review Complete" as of today as well. I'm retaking the LSAT, but with my current numbers (at LSAT median, above GPA median), W&M is a target school. So I don't think Initial Review Complete gives any indication of YP

I submitted on Tuesday and I haven't gotten any kind of confirmation at all from W&M that they even got my application. I know they're probably inundated with applications this late in the game, but I really didn't have the option of applying much sooner, I was holding out for a decision from TFA and just recently got rejected so that was when I started my apps.

Just to weigh in here, I never had any sort of status for W&M. It remained totally blank even after I was accepted on the 18th/19th. I just checked again and it now says this:

Current Status: May 1 is Deadline to Accept Offer
Current Status Date: 11/29/2010
Decision Status: Initial Review Complete

My status checker now says initial review complete, but it doesn't say "May 1 is Deadline to Accept Offer." In fact, if I didn't have my admission packet sitting right in front of me, I would probably be freaking out right now.

It's so frustrating! Not that it will be any less so once I get my checker email. I know myself, I'm going to check it obsessively. I'm trying to keep my options as open as possible, but W&M is definitely one of my top choices.

It took a full week and a half before I got the application received. I'm still waiting to hear that my application is complete.

Update: And soon after posting this I went complete.

I'm not sure about the first question. As for the second, a bunch of people received acceptances prior to Thanksgiving via status checker (in the mailings section).

W&M waits for paper copies of the LSAC report. That might be why it's incomplete if you submitted within the past couple of days.

Status Checker.

I don't think it will take a month at this point. I think they are on the verge of new decisons. This is "initial REVIEW complete" not application complete. Any once else who has been accepted remember?
