Yep. Didn't get much though. I was more interested in finding out about the various institutes. I applied for the Bill of Rights deal. Do you know if that should be part of the packages or do we find out later?
I applied for another similar fellowship and didn't hear anything. I don't know if this means I didn't get it, or they haven't decided on it.

I got 170 on my LSAT. I don't have a GPA because I did my undergrad overseas, but my undergrad record was classified as 'Superior' by LSAC. I think that maybe my application was looked at so quickly because it's a bit unusual (being overseas and whatnot). Hopefully they won't keep people waiting! Good luck!

I didn't get my packet today. :(

Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day! I'll hear back from both Illinois and get my W&M packet!

Does anyone know what percentage of out-of-state students get the graduate fellowship (i.e., the in-state tuition + stipend)?

I know this is sort of a weird inquiry. All it says on the fin-aid letter is that it is "awarded to exceptional out-of-state students."

Got my packet today. My scholarship is disappointingly small. :( Which sucks bigtime, because W&M was one of my top choices. But my parents don't really understand rankings, or that any difference at all exists between law schools, and I know they're going to pressure me to go wherever gives me the most $$. So I know I'll probably have to take that into consideration when I pick since they'll be helping support me while I'm in law school, even though I'm footing the tuition bill.

I am actually OOS...I have gotten into a few higher ranked schools so if, at the end of everything, I want to go after W&M I will have to try my hand at negotiating. Though I read somewhere that W&M doesn't really negotiate. So I'm probably screwed.

I sent in my app right before New Years and found out yesterday that I was in. I'm still on winter break and my packet is being mailed to my apt at school so I haven't had a chance to look at the packet.

Did you actually read the posts on this page?

Everyone posting on this page was talking about scholarships, not whether they will get in. But it is also ludicrous to think that EVERYONE will get in. Most people who apply to W&M won't get in.

I believe this data is for the class of 2012, but there were 4,980 applicants and 1,109 offers. More than 75% of applicants didn't get in.

Last year there were 6,292 applicants.

Don't tell people we're all going to get in, that is false hope.

With OOS tuition being 33k per year, an 8k scholly is just a drop in the bucket. No way am I going $125k in debt for W & M.
As nearly your #'s twin, I can't agree more with that statement.

If I don't get an acceptance with some significant $ either, the rest of yall can get excited because I'll be withdrawing too :|

got my acceptance letter in the mail today. Got the Graduate Fellowship! $23,000 a yr, and I get in-state tuition despite being OOS. Wow, looking at the actual numbers, this is virtually a full scholarship. Very excited.

Just applied a few days ago with a 3.6 and a 167. I hope I didn't completely kill my chances by waiting so long...

I know :( I'm really hoping I can negotiate more, I'm really in love with W&M. If not I always have my backups, but at almost sticker it's virtually not an option. Honestly, 4K a year is almost insulting.

In w/10k! Excited! I haven't had an acceptance in quite awhile. Since I didn't even think I would get in...getting $ is pretty cool.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
