I was accepted on 1/27 and received my scholarship letter today. It was dated 1/31

Are you satisfied with the scholarship offer?

I'm gonna throw a party if I get accepted to W&L this Friday,
Did the phone interview two weeks ago and got a nice handwritten letter from the dean of admissions!

Shit, if I'd have known I'd go back in review this early I'd have done an interview or.. anything really, since my initial waitlist.

Same here! He was really nice, though the handwriting was hard to read I hope we both get in!

Agreed, do you think a LOCI emailed this week would be of any help at this point. Or should I just wait it out and see if I make the cut?

I didnt get any handwritten letters >< in fact, I was accepted by email one week after going complete! Did this happen to anyone else wtf?

For negociating aid who do we send the email to? I'm thinking (from the website)

Contact the person who signed the financial aid letter. I can't remember which Dean it was, but that's who I e-mailed and she got back to me the same day with a higher offer. Good luck.

my scholly letter was sent 1/31 and I got it on Friday, 2/4. It was my understanding that you would receive a letter whether or not you were awarded scholly. Something along the lines of "even if we are unable to offer you scholarship money, you will be informed of this in the letter as well."

+1 I've gotten 3 other separate mailings from W&L (including one sent on 2/4). I have no idea what's up.

I'm part of the pre-1/20 waitlist pool (12/9), so I sent Director Twitty a LOCI email on Monday, and scheduled a phone interview for Thursday morning. Hopefully that's enough to convince them to accept me!

I got in with money last month. I am going to withdraw. Hope one of you guys gets it!

same here.. mail just came for the day and still nothing.. i figure ill give it 7-10 days excluding sundays.. so if I dont hear by like thursday I'll give a call

That happened to me as well. I applied on the 22nd of January and was accepted on the 27th, insanely fast. No handwritten note. I think you should be flattered that they didn't have to put that much time and effort into deciding whether or not you are an acceptable applicant.

I'm nervous..only 48-50 hours till a decision is made..

i went complete on 1/31 and have been in review ever since. maybe i had weird timing

why are things coming out on friday? i thought it was normally thursday

Friday is when they're cutting the waitlist. Offering a few spots, denying others, and continual waitlist for the rest.
