FYI, for those looking at this thread and saying "stop talking about basketball," UNC might not be the best school for you. Just to illustrate, the engineering firm where I work part-time now effectively shuts down for both the ACC tournament and the 1st-2nd rounds of the NCAA tournament. Studies have been done illustrating the effect of March Madness on productivity. Just saying.

This is support from my personal experience as well. Nearly the whole office goes to the conference room to watch on a projector.

I got the Chancellor's email - definitely going! A bit nervous about the interview.

I was dangerously close to throwing things and going indiscriminantly crazy last night. Which works well in one's apartment, but not so much when you're on a 3 story balcony. We haven't had a Duke heartbreaker like that in YEARS, dare I say since the dark ages of Matt Daugherty. :shudder:

Not that you'd really be there if you were in law school at Carolina, but go to Wilson library (with the marble columns). So wonderful.

I got an email saying there would likely be offers going out next week.

Mine was dated 2/8.

I was a 2/3 admit and the e-mail I was referring to went out 2/8. I'd imagine us non-chancellors' scholarshipers will start to go out next week.

I would imagine it would be pretty good seeing as you are in-state. I have the same LSAT score and got in, though I am out of state.

I'm in state with slightly higher LSAT/GPA and haven't heard anything. Submitted in November.

I'm instate with 3.26/167 my issue is that I applied 1/13 (after getting my lsat back) I'm not under review yet.

I do wonder how bad I hurt my chances applying in January. UNC's admission staff is known for taking their time, so applying late might compound with that. I also hear UNC favors GPA more than most schools...

I have similar numbers to you. I was "ready for review" on 12/17 and it hasn't changed in almost 2 months. I've heard mid-late february is when most of my friends who are currently at UNC heard, if that's worth anything.

Hopefully more people will hear soon. On the tour I took, the guide said they didn't hear until late/mid February.

So there is still hope. Not that many acceptances have gone out yet, at least that is what it looks like on LSN.
