I thought I would have had a better result (a deferral or at least a waitlist). Disappointing.
When did you go complete?

Anybody know if it's better to be deferred or waitlisted if you applied ED?

Has anyone even gone from ED>WL? I thought so far there had only been accepted or deferred to RD.

I dunno but with my numbers (3.78/163) I count this as a big win.

I went complete 11/23, also waiting. Didn't apply ED or whatever for that scholarship.

Waitlisted today at 7:30pm, went complete 11/15. Guess with a 157/3.95 that is to be expected but I thought with all my softs I'd be in.

Does GW consider GPA more so than LSAT? It seems that people with far lower LSATs than me are getting wait listed, but I got rejected. Maybe I'm just bitter :)

Does anyone think that a rejection at GW is indicative of results from BC and BU? I'm in at Fordham, but between the three, I'd go with the money.

As much as we like to analyze the law school admissions process, it's still a huge mystery. You can find general trends, but who knows how many people (that you hear from on this site) were borderline dings, but were waitlisted because of personal statements, diversity factors, additional essays, letters of rec, etc etc. Or how many were borderline admits but had great softs. It's tough to tell.

I don't think a GW decision is indicative of how other schools will interpret your application. That's the key. Interpretation.

FWIW, I got waitlisted at GW and accepted to BU. Good luck

I'm guessing you might be referencing me. I am kind of a URM (Cuban) with softs, so that might give me a boost. I'm still confused whether Cuban is or is not a URM, so sometimes I don't specify.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
