The financial aid award page says financial aid won't be availiable to graduate students until after May 1st, does anyone know if this is just for returning grad students, or does that apply to incoming students as well? That would seem to be a major detriment to their recruiting class if people don't know what sort of scholarships and aid they'll get before they have to make a decision.

I believe someone mentioned this earlier in this thread (or perhaps in the "In @ USC" thread). That timeline does not apply to incoming law students. We will receive word of financial aid awards shortly (this week, I hope), likely before anything is updated on the webpage.

I sent mine via email and got a response back right away!

They've waitlisted hardly anyone...probably just for their pre-decision apps. I personally supplemented mine with a "Why USC" about a month after submitting and also got an email the same day.

Im still IR...sent an LOCI because of long wait...complete 11/18 IR 3/2...sent LOCI 3/9....and i checked on it today and re-sent it...it seems as though they didnt get the first one...so if they dont respond to you, dont be afraid to call and ask

Submitted on 12/13, still not IR ... I wrote USC off a long time ago so I rarely check my status anymore, but I do find it strange they haven't dinged me yet.

It's strange that I am UR 03/12 and that I haven't been dinged yet either. I somehow got a merit-based fee waiver, even with numbers below medians. Should I still hold out hope? I'm Hispanic, but I don't think that differentiates me much in LA. I think USC would be lots of fun to study law.

If anyone is feeling bad about their status, I am still sitting at Complete as of 10/22...

Anyone think this warrants a call?

It probably does, but you are unlikely to get any information that will help you know how soon they will reach a decision on your file.

It takes the time it takes, I've been told...

EDIT: I actually had a dream about the USC admissions office last night. Interesting dream, but this process creeping into my subconscious that much=oh noes.

Complete 1/6, UR 3/3

Thoughts on sending a LOCI? Too early?

I have the same IR as you and my scores are under the medians and I'm also Hispanic. I don't think I'll get in but I'm just going to wait it out.

You can try, but I doubt you will get any helpful answer. I'm sitting at 'complete' since 11/16, and have e-mailed them couple of times (including yesterday).
They sent 'exactly same reply' to me every single time saying that they had 'too many applicants and can't tell when the decision will be made'.

I almost gave up.
