Wow, if I had your money at UCLA, I'd choose that... if I wanted to live in Cali later (and I do)...

My goal is to get to NYC Biglaw so I can work in sports someday. LA is an okay market for sports too, and UCLA does have twinges of sending kids to firms in NYC, but it's not exactly what I want.

I'm from Western NY, and I haven't had much travel experience at all. I'm not a homebody by any means (I'm quite a fan of change, and I adjust very easily to surroundings), but transplanting to LA might be juuuust too much to handle. Plus, I'm really not sure about how that state of California is going...I don't think I want to work there after I graduate.

Part (not a significant portion, but enough to matter) of the $ I have listed is need-based, and you never know how that's going to change. I multiplied what I got by 3 just for whatever, but that probably would change.

I really thought I'd get some $ to Michigan or Duke. The double WL burned really bad. I loved those schools a lot and would have attended.

Edit: However, there is a reason I'm visiting (and really excited, I might add) UCLA. I am definitely considering it and if I am impressed I will attend! I also hate cold weather so much. I might be used to it sicne I've had it my whole life, but it still sucks a lot.

Rothman applicant? Perhaps now they're signaling the moving of those from the Rothman pile to the RD pile.

At least that's what I thought my 11/22 --> 3/3 was.

I applied in early October and am still complete. I think I should be entitled to a refund of my application fee. Clearly USC is not giving me a fair evaluation for admission.

I wonder whether they may even start review of my application before I make final decisions for other school that I already got admitted..

Hey USC: Rolling admissions usually means that the first applicants are reviewed early, not that you put them on the bottom of a stack and don't unearth them until May.

Lets hope 3/7 is a good day.

BTW, anyone know how long it takes until we receive e-mail or whatever about the decision?

2/1 =(. Wanted to get it in earlier but my LOR's weren't even in by then, and I broke my collarbone 2 weeks earlier so I took a nice long vicodin vacation before I realized I had to rush my 2/1 apps in. Sigh.

P.S. Writing P.S.'s with 1 hand and while in constant pain is... painful.
