IR 11/22 --> IR 3/3.

I know this is about as useful as all the other than IR updates (not very useful...), but I think this means I'm not getting invited for the Rothman interview haha.

I know it's been completely random up to this point, but how many of y'all have had just one IR update before a DF?

I am still 11/22. Maybe this means they are looking at you again for the Rothman.

They have a "waitlist" status? And a DF status witha letter that says you are on the WL?

No.
Waitlists don't go DF/get a letter.
They just get an EMAIL.
So if you are DF, you are either IN or OUT.

This is only partially true. I never received an e-mail about my waitlist status, which is a little weird.

Wow, finally went IR 3/3. Last date was December, I think...<median GPA, >75% LSAT.

People are aware that the 75% LSAT is 169 and not 167 like it has in the law school rankings on the tls homepage right?

TLS should update that table

Decision Finalized 2/28. I live on the east coast so being that those that were in the same batch who live in southern cal did not get their letters until yesterday, I was not expecting mine until tomorrow or Saturday, but it came today. So for anyone else waiting for something from the 2/28 batch anywhere in the US, I cant imagine it being much longer.

I was confused about this too. Both numbers are going around, but according to the USC website, it's 169. I feel like this changed recently, but I'm not quite sure when...

Pretty sure it changed during early fall. When I looked at the USC website over the summer, it still said 167, but when I checked in September, it had updated to 169. I'm guessing the 167 was for the Class of 2012 and the 169 is for the Class of 2013.

I've always seen c/o 2013 as 167 - median
169 - 75%

in their viewbook and online...

Yup, USC is not my first choice. But it is near the top of the list. It is definitely the first acceptance to a school that I actually want to go to, but not at sticker.

Any idea what the $$$ situation is? The acceptance letter was basically just a letter saying "congratulations, you are accepted" and that a packet will come shorty.

I got the letter today also. : ) As for scholarship money (if any), I'm HOPING that info will be in that forthcoming packet.

I also know that USC will send us the finaid forms we have to fill out via email, and I asked in the "In at USC" thread how long it took those to be emailed. So, the need-based information should come after we turn in those forms. For now, I suppose we just sit back and cross our fingers. Congrats, and good luck!

although I realize it's not productive in any way, I'd like to reiterate my frustration with having to wait for that stupid envelope to cross the country.

I just got the call from a very nice individual from USC Admissions
informing me that I was selected as one of the four Frank Rothman Scholars
candidates to fly in to interview for the an entire day in Los Angeles.

I am overjoyed about this opportunity; the Rothman is such a wonderful
scholarship program, and I labored for a good two weeks on that essay.
I'm so glad it did not go unnoticed. If I get the scholarship, I would 100%
take it.

The director informed me that the other three calls will go out today, too.
Good-luck! =)
