haha, i'm a socal native and it makes me sad that neither of the socal schools i've applied to have admitted me yet. a part of me really likes the idea of at least having the option to move back...

I submitted around 11/7 and went In Review on 1/7... and I also am URM

I hope this is not bad for us lubru....

I've been complete since early December, and have yet to go under review. There are others as well. I'm >75th for LSAT and around median for GPA.

edit: also, people have had decisions finalized straight from complete, so you do not necessarily have to go under review, if that makes you feel any better.

Semi-unrelated sidenote: All those random schools that keep recruiting me even though I am not going to apply need to STOP EMAILING. Every time I see "admissions" as the start of a from email I have a mini heart attack and then it turns out to be from some non ABA online law school in like, Egypt. Then I get grumpy.

the lack of a comma there made me think this sentence was going in a very different direction. I envisioned it along the lines of: I'm starting to get scared of my mailbox knowing that reject letters could come, and refusing to open so as to not allow them in.
