Still only complete. From 2.5 months ago. Decent numbers for USC, genuinely surprised.

Re: USC 2011
I'm guessing i know the answer to this but my application is still "incomplete".
Is this because I took the December LSAT and they're still waiting for that score to complete?
Nothing else would make sense so I hope that's what it is lol

Same. Complete on 10/7 and NO CHANGE. I'm actually getting a little worried? It must be my splitter status.

Re: USC 2011
The review process seems random. I am a reverse splitter and have been stuck on UR since 12/6 (I submitted in the middle of October though)
Also, I looked at last years thread and lots of people went to DF as of the 21st. Did this happen to a lot of people today? Then decisions went out in the mail and people received them on Christmas eve.

I've been at DF since 12/8, but no letter yet. My guess is that they mailed the first batch of letters yesterday or today.

It would be nice to hear something before Christmas. All of my app's have been stuck at UR as of early October except for USC and the few I heard from back in Oct/Nov. I'm starting to think I did something really wrong on my resume/PS.

I applied to 6 schools and haven't gotten a single decision yet. (In Review at USC since 12/14.) I knew my reaches would take a while, but I thought I would've heard from someone by now!miracle2011 wrote:I applied to USC at the same time as my other schools and I have already been accepted to UCLA, Georgetown,Michigan and Upenn. Don't you know that USC is more holistic than the aforementioned schools...
On a serious note, people should start hearing back by the end of the month or beginning of January based on last year's cycle.
If you have been admitted to higher ranked schools, then it is very likely you will be accepted at USC. I know that receiving an acceptance letter is like crack, so you could always apply to a lower ranked school like if you need a quick fix (such as USD or Pepperdine).

Guess that means we probably can't rely on any electronic notifications before the holiday, thanks for calling!Redsgomarchingon wrote:called USC. Machine said offices were closed until the 3rd. Maybe some acceptances are in the mail.

And that's why the smart thing to do is to apply to 15+ schools.rinkrat19 wrote:I applied to 6 schools and haven't gotten a single decision yet. (In Review at USC since 12/14.) I mean sure, I am almost certainly not going to attend a few of them, but I've already been admitted to 7 tier 1 schools- it feels awesome. Wish I had more scholarship info though.

Yeah, I agree on the whole applying to 15+ schools. I have 5 acceptances so far.
But I also wish I had more scholarship information too. I do have some $ at Richmond, but not likely going to end up there.

+100000. That's what I've been thinking about all day. I have $ at Fordham but that's not enough for me to go there.queenlizzie13 wrote:Yeah, I agree on the whole applying to 15+ schools. I have 5 acceptances so far.

i applied to 20 something and it is never enough. honestly schools i never thought id apply to turned out to be wise choices. i got waitlisted at a school ranked 1 below a school i got a full scholarship to. now i am regretting not applying to UT because i only have 3 schools between 14-20.

I agree. I find myself wishing I'd shot higher, and even applied to a few more schools than I did.justadude55 wrote:i applied to 20 something and it is never enough. honestly schools i never thought id apply to turned out to be wise choices. i got waitlisted at a school ranked 1 below a school i got a full scholarship to. now i am regretting not applying to UT because i only have 3 schools between 14-20.

Re: USC 2011
Yah, I realized too late that I should've asked for waivers at more schools in the 14-20 range so I could milk them for money, but the fact that I would never attend them based on location kept me from applying to prime schools in my range. Foolish...justadude55 wrote:i applied to 20 something and it is never enough. honestly schools i never thought id apply to turned out to be wise choices. i got waitlisted at a school ranked 1 below a school i got a full scholarship to. now i am regretting not applying to UT because i only have 3 schools between 14-20.
