For someone at the 25th percentile GPA for USC what LSAT would make them competitive?

Yah, I realized too late that I should've asked for waivers at more schools in the 14-20 range so I could milk them for money, but the fact that I would never attend them based on location kept me from applying to prime schools in my range. Foolish...

If you just want to use the schools for scholarship leverage, it's not too late. If youre a very strong candidate and apply asap you cam still get accepted, with $$, to schools that are generous with scholarships. I got a waiver from a school last week and applied for that purpose. For $12 it's worth it if you think it could possibly amount to thousands...

I did that already with Illinois, but I should've applied for like UT and Vandy, which I don't think I'm strong enough a candidate for to get in and get money if I apply this late.

Agreed. Also, above 75th = most likely in.

hope you're right!!!!

also, USC's 75th LSAT is their median. i'm not a math guy so i don't know how this is possible but i guesstimate it means very few people in USC have >170. hopefully that means 170s are a shoe in, but who knows in this dark crazy world?

I likely won't be attending due to financial reasons but if I score a 167+ it wouldn't hurt to apply if I got in I'd try to figure something out. However if I get a 167+ I'll almost certainly get accepted to my state school where I would be taking the offer, so seems like a moot point. Thanks for the info though guys.

Hey guys! Chiming in for the first time and I hope to get into USC because it's one of my top choices at the moment. I went complete on 12/12 and I am now "in review." My stats are 167 LSAT and 3.68 UGPA (thats combined with my UC gpa and CC gpa). I really hope I get in but only time will tell. Good luck to all of you guys!

I was "In Review" since the 7th - now it says the 24th as my date. What does that mean?

you got into duke and georgetown so i wouldn't worry much about it. it is definitely more likely they forgot your app in a pile somewhere than they are going to reject you.

I'm also IR 11/22, with numbers solidly above both 75's. I wouldn't worry about it

Thanks for the reassurance. I just really wouldn't want to end up getting YP-ed or WL-ed based on some stupid PS mistake or anything like that.

I hope they sent out decisions before they took off for the holidays. I've been DF since 12/3 and the wait is killing me!! Here's hoping for mail tomorrow.

Complete 11/29...and still nothing.

I envy all of you with the arbitrary 'still in review' updates.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
