Sometimes you get an email to the admitted students page before you get the snail mail acceptance. But even the email doesn't go to everyone at the same time (could be a day or two here and there) so not getting an email at the same time as everyone doesn't neccesarily mean a ding.
I got my email 4 days after acceptance and snail mail 5-7 days after acceptance.
Wow, could they make a system to make people any more anxious?
Thanks for the response though.
Yeah this is pretty nerve-wracking. I called them today and the refused to give me my decision over the phone. They even said they won't email a decision to anyone (not sure I believe that second part).
Still, it's good to know that at least something's on the way, whatever the decision may be.
What has been the tunraround time from "decision finalized" to getting something in the mail?

The last few DF's have received their letters within a few days after going DF, that is of course referring to those closest to USC. I went DF on 2/28 and live 20 minutes from USC, so I expect my letter today. I'll let you guys know.

THIS makes me feel .0005% better!
Haha thanks for being proactive and making the phone call the rest of us Rothman applicants wanted to make.
haha np. gives me the teeniest sliver of hope.
Is anyone still stuck in IR 11/22 who is not applying for the Rothman? I mean, I'll take it if they want to give it to me, don't get me wrong, but I never indicated to them that I was interested/competitive for a Rothman.

Here
I was stuck at 11/22, asked to apply to rothman but did not do it. Now im at 2/19...Ive come to the conclusion that some guy is sitting at a comp somewhere and just plugging in random updates and having a good laugh about it. perhaps he even has a TLS account and is watching our despair
The SoCal plan hasn't worked out for me. WL by UCLA, so that's why I am hanging on here. I didn't want to apply to Rothman because I could not decide by its deadline. We have to decide if we ultimately want to be in SF or LA, so it's nice to have the two LA options if they cost little if anything. Not working out though.

Is it weird I'm more excited/more anticipating USC's decision rather than NYU/Columbia/Cornell/UVA?

I'm anticipating USC more than NYU, but that's only because I expect a fat reject from NYU.
Still 11/22, didn't apply for rothman

Sorry about that dude. But it looks like you're in at GULC? Not too shabby at all. Still some time left for some acceptances.

Argh! This is driving me nuts. I applied last second, and went complete even later (due to LOR issues). I've been IR since 2/17, and I'm going crazy since this is one of my top choices. Rawr!

I had given up on my status checker until I saw this. I checked and I'm also IR 3/2! Went complete 1/18.
Looking forward to hearing a decision in ~2-4 months....

No.
Waitlists don't go DF/get a letter.
They just get an EMAIL.
So if you are DF, you are either IN or OUT.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
