Man, the wait is made even more stressful by my UVa ding 5 minutes ago. Granted, I hear nonresident admissions is pretty brutal, but ouch. Come on, USC, don't let me down!

come on USC, you have to accept Los Angeles people at your 75ths... even if they went to UCLA...

If this is true, it would be an interesting departure from last year's practice, where every batch was homogeneous.JJDancer wrote:I'm thinking the 2/7 batch is mixed at worst.
Definitely not all ding or WL.

I wonder how many are stuck in 'complete' since Nov like me with reasonable #s.
Stuck in complete 11/16. #s are both median.
Shouldn't be only me....any idea why I'm stuck?

Because DF 2/7 group = most likely denial or WL.mybrain wrote:I wonder how many are stuck in 'complete' since Nov like me with reasonable #s.

You are still in it to win it. Trust me, you don't want to be in the DF 2/7 group with me and my LSAT score.
Please love 2/7 group USC!
P.S. Idea for title of a new "How to get a 170 LSAT" thread, one that better stresses the importance of retaking if you don't perform well: Me and my LSAT score

It might be a batch with different decisions, but I'm in DF 2/7 group and law school predictor has me at "ADMIT" (>95%).Top14Hope wrote:Because DF 2/7 group = most likely denial or WL.mybrain wrote:I wonder how many are stuck in 'complete' since Nov like me with reasonable #s.

I love TLS. Where people think they can objectively evaluate their own credentials.

I'm overly defensive when people claim the whole batch is WL/ding ...Top14Hope wrote:lol YP?
but my stats
GPA = 75
LSAT above median, below 75
Pretty sure that ain't YP

Re: USC 2011
Has this been the practice with USC prior to last year as well? Not sure if it really matters, just trying to see if there is a pattern. Oh well, I guess i'll just wait for the letter in the mail....jman77 wrote:If this is true, it would be an interesting departure from last year's practice, where every batch was homogeneous.JJDancer wrote:I'm thinking the 2/7 batch is mixed at worst.

FYI
WL's are exclusively notified online by the status checker...a large packet comes in the mail about a week after.
Admits and Rejections are notified via snail mail in a small envelope.

Are you thinking the DF 2/7 is a mixed batch?

I'm almost certainly going to be rejected from USC.
My decision has not yet been rendered.
Therefor, this next batch of acceptances are all admits.
Droppin logic bombs on yo moms.

If your goal is to be the most negative person on this thread can you at least post your scores so we get an idea of what they are before you make everyone feel bad

Been lurking about here, rooting for everyone!
I got my app in right at the deadline and have been "In Review" as of 1/28/11. Any idea on the turn-around?
I'm a URM, 167/4.05 GPA with 2 MA's (UCLA and UofC).
Congrats on all the admits and good luck to the rest of us

The fact that you're already UR suggests you're on the fast track, so not really sure how accurate of a timeframe these other apps could provide. You obviously stand an excellent chance, though.vi_vi wrote:Been lurking about here, rooting for everyone!
