Seems like the weirdest thing ever. You basically have 3 minutes to answer 2 out of 3 questions asked. I was so confused when I read that part of the email. I'm still really confused.

How does that work? You get as much time to rehearse your answer as you want? Seems like a golden opportunity...

The email is kind of vague about it. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but these are the guidelines

1) Avoid repeating information that is available elsewhere in the application
2) The maximum time allowed is 3 minutes to answer 2 of 3 questions
3) We will only accept interviews done via webcam – this means no
professional or semi-professional videos with any form of editing will be
allowed.

how long does it typically take to get an accept/reject letter in the mail after the DF shows up on the status checker? (sorry if this was already asked)

So I talked with Admissions today and if you went decision finalized on 3/31 like I did, they said they mailed out the letters today! Also they confirmed to me what probably most of you already know but if your status says decision finalized then you were either rejected or accepted. Good luck to everyone!!
I suppose it depends on how far from LA you live.

I will be looking forward to that rejection letter then.

My earlier optimism has dissipated.

There were 17 sub-167 LSAT acceptances last year. Ten have already gone out this year.

I love how the mail process gives us the opportunity to go through the 5 stages of grief--

denial

anger (at self, for denial)

bargaining (current stage--7 acceptances left!)

looking forward to:

depression (mail received)

acceptance (mail deposit to SCU)

Not everyone posts on law school numbers. I don't. It's very possible that 10 out of 10 posted this year, and 17 out of 3,000,000 posted last year. Don't generalize too much.

How quickly does USC turn around scholarship info? Who has gotten $?

I got $. I was DF on 2/7, submitted all my financial aid forms by around 2/22, and received my scholarship letter in the mail on 3/25. USC mailed its first round of scholarship offers on 3/24, and I think some people who received offers had been accepted in March. I'm not sure what the turnaround time would be though if you were accepted just before or after USC mailed its first round of offers.

I went complete 1/4 and have not heard anything since. My numbers are not at par with the schools medians should I just assume they will be sending out a mass group of rejections before may.

DF as of 4/1. I didn't get an e-mail saying that I'm WLed. What dos this mean?

It means you're not waitlisted. You are either rejected or accepted. You will get a letter in the mail.

I have been complete as of 11/5 and IR as of 3/2. I'm fine with them rejecting me but why on earth has it taken them this long? Ugh.

I was an auto-reject for Stanford and yet they still took 5+ months to reject me after I went IR there on 10/12...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
