OMG, I finally switched from Complete 10/4 to In Review 1/26! Too bad I already have been admitted to UCLA + multiple T14's. Sorry USC I am not waiting for you, this is ridiculous.

Just got my second review date...today. So went from in review 1/19 to in review 1/26. Does it, you know...mean anything to have review dates spaced only a week apart?

Also, I forget but do we know if acceptance letters come in small or big envelopes? Not that I should be expecting one on the day that I switched to "In Review"... just curious :)

I don't know if there's any rhyme or reason to it. I've heard of high-numbered folk submitting in November and just now going in review, and more median folk submitting in mid December who have heard back. I went under review a week after going complete, and got a second review date a week later. No idea what it's supposed to mean.

And I'm not an auto admit or auto reject either. Just on the low end of average I guess. I wish USC did email notification. Although, if you get an email inviting you to admitted students weekend, you can easily deduce your status

LSAT at median, GPA around the 25. Yeah, why was I premed for that one year? Oh well.

Speaking of long cycles, anyone have any idea how long it takes (assuming you're not an auto reject or whatever) to get a decision once youre under review? I know most schools give a range of about 8-12 weeks, but can anyone address this from personal experience?

A review of USC's cycle this year:
The first DF statuses online were 12/3 and 12/8. But these people didn't get letters until first week of Jan.

The second wave of DFs happened 1/8 ish.

Then there was a wave on 1/14 which was a ding pile.

Personally:
I guess now they are going back and putting earlier apps in review because I went UR right after going complete. My second UR date is 1/2. No change since then.

So in your estimation, when is USC due for another round of Decision Finalized? And if I just got my second UR is there a chance I might be in it? And do I have OCD?

FWIW Complete since 11/11 and no change since then. I'm hoping my avoiding the 1/14 ding pile is actual good news and not just a stay of execution.

Went complete 11/1 and finally under review 1/26! Faculty Review for Berkeley finally. It was tough going without any movement on UC schools for so long. Here's to hoping some good news is in my future.

I went from IR 12/12 to IR 12/26. Nice to know that they're still alive over there.
